 Spirox Manufacturing & Design Center (MDC) provides a host of  efficiency and reduce costs. The MDC offers vertically-integrated and timely solutions designed to reduce customer manufacturing time and increase overall test efficiencies. With respect to test equipment repair, Spirox MDC works closely with customers’ technical teams and in-house equipment to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.Prober Manufacturing MDC adopts the Complete Kit Delivery (CKD) method to manufacture and calibrate probers in Taiwan. It is Taiwan’s first fully-automated 8-inch wafer prober manufacturing line, established by Spirox and its long-term partner, Accretech. This development has helped to localize semiconductor equipment maintenance and reduce delivery time and cost. To date, it has delivered more than 200 wafer probers. Load Board Design Spirox own-brand load board design and manufacturing solutions allow customers to attain the customer-specific solutions and competitive production schedules required to maintain market competitiveness. Spirox load board solutions offer high quality and superior electrical conductivity performance, resulting in increased yield rates and reduced production issues. Mechanical Design Spirox MDC provides customized interface kit design and production to meet the unique needs of various prober and tester equipment. As one of the few localized interface kit solution providers, MDC is able to reduce the development time and cost of interface kit production, directly benefiting customer production schedules and cost constraints. Localized solutions also reduce risk of damage during shipment and time delays resulting from customs and shipping mistakes. Socket Design Spirox MDC also provides comprehensive socket planning, design and manufacture solutions according to individual customer product performance requirements. Coupled with other MDC services, localized socket design and manufacture solutions can help customers directly reduce the time required to qualify each design by managing the risks associated with device compatibility. In addition, the MDC’s localized socket solutions reduce time and risks associated with overseas shipping, helping clients reduced production times and save on development costs.  |
