Initiated by the InfoDATE , the first Digital Art Exhibition in Hsinchu City “Engineers' Fantasyland” will be kicked off soon and it will take place at Hsinchu City Art Gallery & Reclamation Hall from Dec.24, 2008 to Jan. 4, 2009.

The event is presented and organized by the Taiwan Technology Art. As the first large digital art event inaugurating in Hsinchu City, it will present 9 indoor activities by several artists including Tien-Chun Chang, Ya-Li Chen, Should Chang, Ming-Hung Chen, Chung-Tsuo Lin, Ming-Hsun Hsieh, Hank Weng, Li-Chen Loh, Yu-Chuan Tseng, Chia-Hsiang Lee, Hui-Yu Lo and Tzu-wei Tsai.The theme is “Engineers' Fantasyland” which is inspired from the numerous population of engineer inhabiting Hsinchu area and the exhibition will introduce digital art to the public.

The target of Engineers' Fantasyland is to bring different angles and diversified thinking to the public. Moreover, they will experience art that reflecting the engineers' creative thinking and life interests through their involvement and the additional tourist attraction is also available there.

•  Opening Ceremony: 2008.12.24 (Wed.) 10:30 AM, Hsinchu City Art Gallery & Reclamation Hall

•  Exhibition: 2008.12.24-2009.01.04 Opened from Wednesday to Sunday. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

•  2 Seminars: 2008.12.24 (Wed.) 1:30 PM, Hsinchu City Government 2F Hall
