This season Hsin Chu Wind Orchestra invited 5 trumpet soloists, Robert Nagel , Mark Lord, Kuo Liang Peng, Zhung Fu Hsu and Chung Xing Nie to their annual concert De Lux Trumpet as their guest artists. They put on brilliant performances and the philharmonic persons all enjoyed very much!  

With two-year right amount of preparation and practice from 2008, Hsin Chu Wind Orchestra caroled their great success for this concert featured the joint performance with 2 well-known trumpet soloists: Robert Nagel and Mark Lord. Robert Nagel, an original member of the New York Brass Quintet and highly respected trumpet soloist, came to Taiwan to give impeccable conducting and play solo in the concert; yet Mark Lord, the first trumpet with the Taipei Symphony in Taiwan for four years and an active recitalist currently, put on outstanding performance as well. Moreover, three local trumpeters, Kuo Liang Peng, Zhung Fu Hsu and Chung Xing Nei also dedicated to bring a great of diversity of programs in the concert. As to the diverse program, it allowed the audience to explore and discover the art of different trumpets. The concert-goers, young and old, alike came for masterly caliber of the trumpet soloists and enjoyed the unique performance De Lux Trumpet .
