St. Joseph Social Welfare Foundation hosted an annual fundraising fair “Light on Life by Love” on Sunday, April 26 from 9 am to 2 pm on the green at Shuiyuan district in Hsinchu City .

As one of the donators, Spirox Education Foundation encouraged as many as employees and their family to donate their unnecessary stuff for upcoming sale or to join in as volunteers at the same day. During the fair, parents and kids had great chance to sell the second hand stuff with special discount such as books, toys, T-shirts, caps, general supplies, and so on. Besides, they would be able to meet and break the ice between most of us and the handicapped and their family who were invited to the event.

Even though the weather was drizzly, the fundraising event was hugely successful since t here were over 100 vendors joined in the event, in the meanwhile, many donators and representatives also came here to support this program.

The raising funds were to help St. Joseph Social Welfare Foundation not only purchase t he medical equipment for physically or mentally handicapped children and adults they serve but also pay monthly the partial salaries of their teachers and various fees this year.
