Spirox Corp. (TWSE: 3055), a professional value-added solution provider, announces a strategic investment plan with its vendor partner Wintest Corp. (TYO: 6721), which agreed by the Board yesterday. Spirox will buy 9.09% of Wintest shares at JPY 220 (approx. NTD 62) per share, and Wintest will buy 5~6% of Spirox shares at NTD 40 per share. Spirox and Wintest will develop semiconductor test solutions together to fulfill customer demands resulted from semiconductor localization in the Great China.
Wintest Corp., a leading semiconductor test equipment manufacturer located in Japan, is specialized in display driver IC, TDDI and CIS/CCD testing and well-known for its high-speed, low power consumption features and the competitive price. Jiang Hui, President of Wintest, stated that Spirox is the best choice to expand the semiconductor test market with for its professional technical team and good customer relationships.
